Getting to know Amy:

My name is Amy, I am 28 years young. I am an alumni of Virginia Intermont College and East Tennessee State University, majoring in Political Science and Business. I work full time and stay very busy. I am married to a wonderful guy and mother of several...pets that is. No children. In my free time I love traveling, boating, horse back riding, walking and playing with my dogs, golf, hiking, exercise, skiing, snowboarding, and OF COURSE cooking!
My love of cooking has been ongoing for my entire life it seems. I spent many of my after school days with my grandmother, who was a traditional southern cook. Her along with my mother taught me the basics in which I have grown and added too and consider myself a very good cook today.
Coming from the south you immediately think - comfort food - I love comfort foods but love to go beyond that creating dishes that challenge me and my taste buds!
